Matches from the broader community

Find caregivers on the CareCommunity network near a job who aren't in your community yet, and refine the search.

When your own community runs short, look wider. The Broader community view on a job's Sourcing tab shows caregivers across CareCommunity who live near the job, fit it, and aren't in your community yet.

Open broader community matches

  1. Open the job and click the Sourcing tab.
  2. Click Broader community.

The header shows how many caregivers are within your search area. It also shows how many unlocks you have left this month.

What a card shows

Until you unlock someone, you see a profile card with:

  • first name, discipline, area and distance
  • when they last updated their profile
  • Amount of experience, Languages, Desired schedule and Care setting experience
  • their weekly availability
  • a score for this job, with the reasons behind it

Last name, ZIP code and contact details arrive only when you unlock them. See Unlocking network members.

Who is shown

The search starts from the job's own ZIP and Travel radius, or 25 miles if the job has none. It shows caregivers who:

  • are in the job's discipline
  • live within the search radius
  • haven't told CareCommunity they aren't looking for work
  • aren't already in your community or on this job
  • haven't stopped sharing their profile with your agency
  • haven't worked for your agency in the last 3 months

If the job is remote or has no ZIP, enter a ZIP code to choose where to search.

Refine the search

Use the row above the cards to change who you see:

  • Within … of: pick a radius of 1, 5, 10 or 25 miles (or the job's own radius), and type a different ZIP code to search from.
  • Other disciplines: include caregivers in other disciplines. They are scored lower and listed after the discipline matches.
  • More filters: narrow by Experience, Care setting, Speaks and Available on. You can pick several care settings, languages and days. A person needs to match only one of them.

Note: More filters leave out anyone who hasn't filled that part of their profile in. The filters decide who is shown. They don't change anyone's score.

Click Reset to job to go back to the job's own search.

Save for later

Click the bookmark on a card to Save for this job without spending an unlock. Owners, admins and recruiters can save by default.
