The Home queue

Home lists everyone who needs you right now, most urgent first, so you can work through your day in one place.

Home (the page titled Today) lists the people who need someone on your team to act. Each person shows once, with their reason, job and stage.

Why people land in the queue

People are listed under the first reason that fits them, in this order:

ReasonWho is listedOrder
RepliedSomeone sent a text or email that nobody has read yet.The reply waiting longest first
IdleHas been in their stage longer than the stage's idle limit. Most idle first
New applicantsStill in the job's first stage, and nobody has moved, messaged or snoozed them.Applied longest ago first

A few rules to know:

  • Idle and New applicants only count active candidates on open jobs. A reply shows under Replied whatever the job's state.
  • Each stage has an idle limit set by its workflow. If the workflow doesn't set one, it is 5 days.
  • New applicants have no time window, so Friday's applicants are still there on Monday. Once they pass the stage's idle limit they show as Idle instead.

Note: You only see Replied if you can message candidates.

Narrowing the list

  • Use the reason chips (All, Replied, Idle, New applicants) to show one reason. Each chip shows a count.
  • Choose My jobs to see only jobs where you are the hiring manager, or Everyone for the whole agency. My jobs is the default when you manage at least one open job.
  • Type in Search people or jobs… to match a name, job or stage.
  • The list shows 25 people at a time. Click Show 25 more at the bottom to see the next ones.

Working through a record

  1. Click a person to open their record over the queue. If they are there for a reply, it opens on their messages.
  2. Act on them: move their stage, reject them, or send a message.
  3. Use Previous and Next at the bottom of the record to go through the queue. The bar shows where you are, for example "3 of 12 in your queue".
  4. Click Open the job's board to see the whole pipeline for that job.

People you have opened on this visit show Viewed next to their name.

How people leave the queue

Opening a record is not enough. A person leaves when someone acts: their reply is read, they move stage, they are hired or rejected, someone on your team messages a new applicant, or someone snoozes them. Automatic messages from the workflow, such as Application received, don't count.

So the list doesn't jump while you work, a person who leaves stays in place, dimmed, saying what happened: Reply read, Moved, Messaged, Snoozed, or their new status, until you leave Home. When everyone is handled you see You're caught up.
