About My Community
Your agency's private list of everyone you've met, and what each community status means.
My Community is your agency's private directory of every person you have touched. When a job closes, the people on it stay here, so you can find them again and bring them into your next job instead of starting over.
How people get into your community
People join your community when:
- they apply to one of your jobs, from any job board, your career page or CareCommunity
- they join your talent community from your career page
- you unlock them from the broader CareCommunity network
- you import them from a spreadsheet
The Source column shows how each person joined: Applied, Careers page, Imported, Unlocked or Added by hand.
If you reject someone or they leave a job, they stay in your community. If an archived person applies again, they come back as active.
Private to your agency
Everything you keep about a person stays with your agency: their status with you, your notes, tags, files and activity history. Other agencies never see it.
One person can be in many agencies' communities at once. Each agency sees only its own notes and history. How much of the person's CareCommunity profile you see depends on whether they have shared it with you. See Profile sharing and consent.
The four tiles
- People in your community: everyone except archived people. The line under it counts the archived ones.
- Previously hired: people you have hired on one of your jobs before.
- Active in a pipeline: people on one of your jobs right now.
- Never contacted: people your team has never sent a message to.
Community statuses
Each row has a status:
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| New | They have never been on one of your jobs. |
| In a pipeline | They are on at least one open application with you. |
| Previously hired | Their most recent application ended in a hire. |
| Not hired | Their most recent application was rejected. |
| Withdrew | They withdrew from their most recent application. |
| Archived | Hidden from the list unless you turn on Show archived. |
| Do not contact | This person asked not to be contacted. You can't add them to a job. |
Opening a person
Click any row to open their community record. It has CareCommunity, Applications, Notes, Files and Activity tabs. The side panel shows how and when they joined, their last activity and when your team last contacted them.
