Snoozing queue items

Take someone off the Home queue until a later day with Look again later, and bring them back early if you need to.

Sometimes a person in your Home queue doesn't need you today. You are waiting on a reference, or they asked you to call next week. Snoozing takes them off the list until the day you pick, so the queue only shows what you can act on now.

Snooze someone

  1. Find the person in the queue, or open their record from it.
  2. Click the alarm clock icon on their row, or Look again later at the bottom of their record.
  3. Under Take them off the list until…, choose Tomorrow, In 3 days or Next week. Each option shows its date.

They come back at 8am on that day. A message confirms the snooze, with Undo if you picked the wrong person. If you snooze from the record, it moves straight on to the next person.

Note: You can snooze people listed as Idle or New applicants. Replies can't be snoozed. Reading the reply is what takes someone off Replied.

When snoozed people come back early

A snooze ends before its date if:

  • They reply. An unread reply always lists them under Replied.
  • They change stage. Moving them after the snooze ends it, because they are somewhere new.
  • They qualify for a different reason. A snooze only hides them from the reason they were listed under. For example, a snoozed new applicant who passes the stage's idle limit shows up again under Idle.

If they are hired or rejected, or the job is no longer open, they leave the queue, though a new reply still lists them under Replied.

See who is snoozed

Snoozes are shared by the whole team: when you snooze someone, they are off everyone's queue.

  1. Click the snoozed link next to the reason chips (for example, "3 snoozed").
  2. The list shows each person with the day they come back and who snoozed them.
  3. Click Show now to put someone back on the list straight away.
  4. Click Back to the queue to return.

Who can snooze

Owners, admins and recruiters can snooze and undo snoozes. Viewers see the queue but not the snooze controls. If you don't see them, ask your agency owner.
