Messaging settings
Check the email address your agency's messages are sent from, and whether it's ready.
Settings → Messaging shows where your agency's emails to candidates come from. Each agency sends from its own address, and replies come back into the candidate's record. There's nothing to fill in here. The page shows the setup status and lets you nudge it along.
Owners and admins can open this page. If you don't see it, ask your agency owner.
Sending domain
Sending domain is the part after the @ in the address your team's emails come from. Setup runs on its own within a few minutes of your agency being created. You don't need to change anything on your own website or email.
The status next to it tells you where setup is:
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Waiting to start | Setup hasn't begun. Click Set up now to start it. |
| Setting up | Setup is running. Click Check now to look again. |
| Waiting for DNS | Everything is in place and waiting to be confirmed. This usually takes a few minutes, sometimes longer. Click Check now to look again. |
| Verified | Your team's emails are sent from your agency's domain, and each recruiter appears under their own name. |
| Needs attention | The domain couldn't be confirmed. Click Try again. If it keeps failing, contact CareCommunity support. |
Last checked under the status tells you when it was last looked at.
Note: Until your domain is verified, emails still go out. They're sent from CareCommunity with the recruiter's name on them, and replies still come back to the right conversation.
Unsubscribes
The note at the bottom of the page explains how opt-outs work. Every email carries an unsubscribe link. Someone who unsubscribes stops getting your emails, but can still get texts if they chose texts on their application. Replying STOP to a text stops texts only.
