The Hiring dashboard
What each number and chart on Analytics → Hiring means, from hires and time to fill to where your hires come from.
The Hiring dashboard shows how candidates move from first touch to hired, across every job and source at your agency. Open Analytics in the top navigation. Hiring is the first tab.
Every role can see Analytics unless your agency owner has turned it off for that role. If you don't see Analytics, ask your agency owner.
Pick a date range
Choose Last 7 days, Last 30 days (the default), Last 90 days, This month or Last month. The dates in use show beside the chips. Rolling ranges include today.
The tiles compare each number with the same number of days just before your range, for example "+12% vs the previous 30 days". Green means the change is good, amber means it isn't.
The four tiles
- Hires: candidates marked hired in the range, by hire date. A hire that was later reopened doesn't count.
- Median time to fill: for each hire, the days from the job's first posting to the hire. The tile shows the middle value.
- Hire rate: hires in the range divided by candidates added in the range. These are two different groups of people, so treat it as a guide.
- Cost per hire: your paid job ad spend in the range divided by every hire, whatever the source.
Pipeline funnel
Candidates added in the range, by the furthest stage each has reached: Added to pipeline, Screened, Interviewed, Offer and Hired. The percentage beside each bar is how many advanced from the bar above.
- Screened, Interviewed and Offer only show if your workflows have those kinds of stage.
- Your own stages count as the standard stage just before them. A "Credentials checked" stage after Interview counts as Interviewed.
- Someone who skipped a stage counts as having passed it. Only people who are hired now count as Hired.
Time to fill by job
Up to six jobs that made a hire in the range, fastest first. Each shows its median days from first posting to hire against a 14-day target: "On target", "3d under" or "5d over target".
Source quality
Where hires actually come from, not just applicants. Sources are grouped as My Community, Paid ads, Job boards, Careers page, Added by your team and Other.
- Candidates: people from that source added in the range.
- Interview rate: the share of those candidates who reached an interview stage or later.
- Hires: hires from that source in the range.
- Cost per hire: only for Paid ads, your ad spend divided by hires from paid ads.
When one source clearly stands out, a line underneath says so.
Why candidates drop off
Candidates rejected or withdrawn in the range, by the reason recorded. It shows the top seven reasons as a share of the total.
