Candidate activity history
The Activity tab is one timeline of everything that has happened to a candidate, across all their applications.
The Activity tab on a candidate's record is a timeline of what has happened to this person at your agency. It's the place to answer "who did what, and when?" Events are grouped by day, newest first. Each one shows who did it and how long ago. Hover over the time to see the exact date and time.
The timeline covers the person, not only this application. Events from their other applications are included and labelled On followed by the job's name.
What's recorded
Applications and stages
- They applied, with where they came from, such as Applied · …
- They applied again to a job they were already on (Applied again)
- Stage moves (Moved from Screening to Interview)
- Hired, rejected or withdrawn, with the reason and any note. A reopened application shows Reopened.
- Screened out by a rule on the job's application form (Screened out by an application answer), with the question and their answer
- Checklist steps completed or unticked
Messages
- Texts and emails sent by your team, with a preview
- Replies from the candidate
- Messages sent automatically, with the template's name
Files and documents
- Documents requested, received, verified or rejected. Rejected documents show the reason.
- Files your team uploaded
Tags and sensitive fields
- Tags added or removed
- Tags added by a rule on the job's application form (Tagged by their application answers), with the tags
- Someone viewed a full ID number, such as an SSN, on the record or in an application answer (Viewed the full …). The number itself is never shown in the timeline.
Who is shown as doing it
- A teammate's name when someone on your team did it
- The candidate's name for things they did, like replying
- Automatically for things the system did, like an automatic message
- CareCommunity support when our support team acted on your account
- A former teammate when that person no longer has access
What isn't here
- Notes. They have their own Notes tab, so they aren't repeated here.
- Renaming or deleting a file.
The timeline shows the most recent 200 events. Nobody can edit or delete entries, so it's a reliable record.
